Our Commitment
Stravica Ltd is committed to protecting the environment, preventing pollution and delivering services that enable a just transition to net zero. We operate an Environmental Management System aligned to ISO 14001 and the UK Government’s Net Zero Strategy.
Scope: All Stravica offices, vehicles, sites and supply-chain activity across the UK.
What This Means In Practice
- Compliance first: We meet or exceed all applicable environmental legislation and client requirements.
- Plan–Do–Check–Act: Environmental risks are built into bids, site set-up, delivery and close-out via Site Environmental Management Plans (SEMPs).
- Pollution prevention: Controls for air, water, land and noise; no open burning; bunded storage and spill response at every site.
- Resource efficiency: Waste prevention, reuse and recycling as standard, with duty-of-care checks for all carriers.
- Carbon & energy: Measured in line with the GHG Protocol using DEFRA factors; reduction roadmaps and quarterly reporting to the Board.
- People & culture: Mandatory inductions, toolbox talks and a Green Champions network to drive everyday behaviours.
- Supply chain: Preference for ISO 14001-accredited partners; sustainable procurement criteria applied to all high-impact buys.
